I'm Thinking of starting a new RPG called Dragons of Rela.
I am i long time Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) player and Dungeon Master (DM) and if you are familiar with it, i will be using a fair amount of D&D terms, but i will explain what it all means.
but i will not be using the system it's self, rather we will using the system of play most RPGers here will be comfortable with.
Dragons of Rela:
All dragons have four lags, large bat like wings, long tails and necks, shaped like a slender 12 foot long monitror lizard. Dragons here come in two sexes (male and female) and four colors; blue green red and white each with it's own strengths and weaknesses (see below). All dragons and intelligent and most are good in nature. most dragon speak Rellen (the language of Rela) and their own language. All dragons can fly with most reaching speeds up words of 60 KPH, swim just as easily and hold their breath for minutes at a time. Dragons to NOT have a breath weapons, (IE. Fire) nor do they have any innate magical abilities, but they can still learn spell casting just as any other (see below). Dragons depending on their type vary in size from as small as 5 feet at the shoulders and 20 feet in length from nose to tail with a 35 foot wing span and way about 1000 lbs, to as large as 8 feet at the shoulders and 23 feet in length and a 56 foot wing span and way about 1600. Dragons reach maturity at about 25 years of age and usually chose one life partner to mate and rear young. 6 months after mating eggs approximately the size of a human head are layout in worm softy soil, 5 months after that hatchings dig their way out of the soil and into the care of they dragon parents.
(math is fun... to make this easy i came up with this, it is all based off of shoulder height, now if your dragon has any inch's in their height divide the niches by 12 {IE. 6'11" = 6.917, then round the answer, 6.917 x 1.5 = at shoulder height x 1.5 = body 10.3755 rounded that is 10'4"} Shoulder height / 2 = neck. shoulder x 1.5 = body. shoulder x 200 = weight in lb. neck + body = tail. body + tail = wing. wing x 2 = wing span. [THIS IS MY BEST GUESS!] think long horses) if you can't get this or are having trouble understanding my math feel free to PM me.
