They drove for hours and hours. During this time several members of the car became excited and then bored again. They took this in many seperate ways. Lily woke up several hours later and rubbed her eyes quietly.
The sky was black with small spots of light. Ah, so it was night time... how impressive.
She stared out the window with awe and shock at what she was seeing. It occured to her a few moments later that she couldn't be the only one awake, and she smiled, turning to see how Andrew was faring with driving for so long.
She frowned a little. He had his eyes closed..
"Andrew?" she questioned lightly. Her breath caught in her throat, and her eyes widened.
The car shrieked in disapproval and soared off the road, metal screaming off the pavement. It flipped onto it's back and wound up slamming into the side of an oak tree, throwing about everyone inside.
OOC: Wake up everyone. xD

As the van careened off the road, it clipped the corner of the dark car that had been following it. The car swerved, its driver awake, but the swerve overcompensated. The road turned slightly, and the car did not. The vehicle moved through the (unihanbited) lane of oncoming traffic, jumped the raised curb and finally rested, twisted in half between the two walls of ditch.

In the van, Maura's head slammed against the sliding door handle, casing it to open and for her unconscious body to be thown several feet from the vehicle.
Max's head made a resounding contact with the air bag container on the passenger's side. Unfortunately, it didn't deploy. The plastic dented, tore, and cut into his forehead. Blood warmed his eyes and cheek. He mouthed a bit like a fish, half awake now, and rather concerned at his inability to move anything below his neck. Also, the fact that his head hurt, and that it was getting colder.... so very cold... had his a bit concerned.

Caitlyn was breathing hard. She was shivering and she couldn't see anything but the sky outside of the now smashed window.
They crashed? Were they dead?
Lilith whimpered, pushing her body through the smashed window. She was quite lucky to be as welloff as she was, with just a cut face and possibly an injured ankle.
"..is...is everyone okay?"
OOC: Hokay. If you're coming back, I wanna know fairly soon, okay?

Max spoke. It was barely a whisper. "N...n..n...no"
Maura was, not so unexpectedly, silent.
OOC: Max will die if he is left to me. Paul can take him now though... Maura will stay... Mr. Long will die. I'm leaving Clyde for dude.... if he doesn't answer after the email, I'll write his reaction ... and he'll die die die ... bwah ha ha ha ha.

After flying cleanly through the car's smashed window with luck the child didn't know she had; Leeyn's unconsciousness waned as the feeling crept slowly back into her body. She felt sick, but at the same time serene. Something was caressing her face as if bidding her to wake. Slowly, she opened her clover eyes to see several tendrils of grass brushing her unharmed cheeks. Rolling over, the girl realized that the earth around her had cushioned her fall, provided her a makeshift pillow in the second it had before she impacted. Smiling shakily she brushed the grass lovingly and whispered a thank-you. Standing now, Leeyn assessed the crash. Her young features contorting as she saw the state of her friends. "Oh my!" She yelled, hands over her mouth. "Is everyone alright!?"

"...nobody will answer.." Lillith said weakly when Leeyn spoke.
She had now pulled Caitlyn out of the window. Cait was shivering. She was horrified.
"I'm going to get everyone out." Lillith promised. "Max, we're gonna get out of here, okay? We're a team. I won't leave anyone here.."
It was because he'd answered but nobody else had. That was horrifying.
Lillith winced, pushing out the broken glass of the window. She went back inside.

With shaking knees Leeyn headed towards the van, crawling up the muddy slope towards it. This couldn't be happening... after all they've been through and now this? It just, wasn't fair. "Maura!?" She peeked inside the broken window after a quick glance at Caitlyn and spotted Max, blood tainting his facial features. She knew that was definately a bad sign. Lillith was moving still, but Maura wasn't in the van. Which made Leeyn panic and pull her head out of the wreck. "Maura!" She's over here... Leeyn turned her head to see some more tendrils of grass wrapping themselves around a familliar form of Maura. She appeared to be unconscious. "Maura!!!" The girl ran over and kneeled next to her, bidding the plants to let her look her over. Do not worry, she'll be fine. Dreaming when she hit the ground. "But her head?" She worried as she set a cold hand gently on the handle shaped bruise marking her forehead. "Are you sure she'll be alright?" More whispers of the earth answered her questions, eventaully fading away as the grass retracted from where it came. Leaving Maura content beside Leeyn.

The dreams were dreams of many minds and many memories. But, they were peaceful, the short dreams of long grass that lives a summer and knows of winter daeth, but has memory of life and sunshine, and does not fear its ending, as it knows its cycle, its time, and holds to the appreciation of every minute. The dreams were restful.
Clyde sat up with a start, from where he had been jostled into the footwell. He ached. He tasted the tin of blood in his mouth. ANd he wasnt' exactly certain why he was looking at the plastic thing that collected the dirt from the boots and travel... and who was that talking? WHat was ringing?
Max couldn't move... he knew he was crying, or, thought he was... he could see... there was a tree. He thought he could hear the girls. THey were okay. He heard the frieghtened breath of Caitlyn... and Lillith was moving about... he could hear her. And Leeyn had made noise from outside, but he couldn't find the breath to respond. It was like listening to the world from under a pillow. It was hot. Something was hot. But he was shivering.

Leeyn held a hand over her eyes. Disaster, so much chaos, what was she supposed to do? The girl felt like she was drowning in the dilemma. She wasn't doing any good just milling about thinking how aweful this was. She needed to act and fast. "Okay... Maura's fine... I think. Caityln is alive... Lillith was moving about trying save more people. Max was wounded badly. Where was Clyde and Andrew? Leeyn headed to the van again, keeping a lookout for more people that might have been cast out of the vechile during the crash.

Clyde spit out the blood in his mouth, touching the inside of his mouth with his tongue. Was one of his morals loose? Trying to move his head without much success forced him to stop, something was pressing hard against him. Wiggling his fingers and toes to make sure he was not paralyzed was the next thing he did, then he sat about trying to figure a way out. The girls were talking, and so was Max, but his head was ringing and he could not make out the words, each word slipping from his mind's grasp. Nothing to do but wait.

Max whimpered. "Is anyone there? I can't see anymore... I'm scared."

Leeyn poked her head in the van just as Max's words dribbled into her ear. "Max?" Good he was talkng, but there was so much blood. The girl fought down the urge to panic at the sight and crawled next to him. Quicky she unbuckled the seat belt holding him in and looked around for the easiest exit. Out of the corner of her clover tinted eyes she spotted Clyde in his ackward position. "Clyde! Are you alright?" She asked while trying to gently unwrap the seatbelt from Max's body. "Max, can you feel your fingers and toes?"

"No..." His voice was getting very quiet. "I can't see. It's..." As Max took a breath, his chest gave a liquid rattling sound. He coughed. What could have been blood touched the very corner of his mouth. "I'm... I'm scared."

Leeyn spotted the blood at the corner of his mouth. Internal bleeding, and they were nowhere near a hospital. His voice was fading, and the plastic shards melded with his forehead bled horribly as all head wounds did. "D-don't be scared Max... I'm here with you." He's going to die child. The girl held back her tears and shushed the soft tones of the earth around her as she brushed her hand over Max's cheek. "Relax... everything will be okay in a few minutes. Trust me."

As Max's breath slowed to a stop, the atmosphere got quiet. Almost too quiet. And then Maura screemed. She did things like that.
This was a different screem. It wasn't the pain of others' memories. This was her own fear. It sounded different. And was, all in all, more pleasent than the other kind.
She moved a bit... it didn't hurt her... and she looked around. "Leeyn!" She cried when she saw her.
