"Ah, for the love of the oracles!" cursed Kougi as he charged along with the group.
His face was flushed beet red. Being a wizard, he was not trained to do so much physical type activity. He shook his head softly and cursed himself for being so inept when the time was most grave.
"Tara dont you dare give up! wake the heck back up! do you hear me? Tara!"
And then when they desided to stop running he stopped and took a rest with them

Meri winced. Her eyes twisted sideways.
"Ah! Kougi, don't yell at her, it's not her fault... she lost too much blood, you know..?"
Nyx opened her mouth, but closed it again. No. That was obvious and not worth saying.
"..stopping is a bad idea." Meri went on, frowning slightly. "..it's dangerous.."

After a few moments had passed and everybodys breath had seemingly caught back up with them, Dyrza begun to lead the way once again. He did his best to not stay too much ahead of them, but just enough to where they were able to tell where he was going, and ask him anything if need be.
Nearly another twenty minuets had passed, the trees were getting further apart, and light was more prominant around them. Dyrza walked up a small hill and stopped, stairing down it. He waited for everybody else to catch up. Upon ariving, Dyrza pointed to a small log house which was at the bottom of the hill they had just climbed. The hill was much steeper than climbing up it; deep enough to conceil a house and other living necessities.
As they walked down, it was obvious that they were at the back end of the house, so Dyrza walked around from the left around to the front, trying to be as quited as possible. Someone behind him was being noisey as they walked on the leaves. Dyrza without turning around stuck his palm twards them, signaling them to stop walking. He continued to walk around untill he was unseen by the rest, and infront of the house.. Nearly a minuet passed, and a crash was heard from within the house. Dyrza came rushing around the house and yelling "Run!" He made sure everybody was out of sight, but he stood there. A short old woman with dead, white, hair. Wrincles all around her face and skin, for her shirt was a 3/4s sleeve type. It's color was an off green, with black around the shoulders. She held a vase in her hands, and was ready to throw it at Dyrza, she drew back but at the last second the halted.
"Are you.. that damn elf?" She asked, rudly to Dyrza. "If you are.." She pulled back the vase again, ready to throw. Dyrza nodded that, yes, he was that damn elf. She threw the vase at him, but he easily evaded it.
"Don't forget, you old bad.. You owe me your life." Dyrza said. She looked at him with obvious hate. "I'm here to collect my debt." He spoke calmly.
"What do you want?!" Her eyes burned, and her nostrils flared when she spoke. "I don't have all day!"
"You are to heal someone.. Someone who is dieing." He looked over to where the group was hiding, and beckoned them twards him. Tara was shown the the woman, Dyrzas shirt was nearly as bad off as the one they took off before. "I don't care how long it takes!"
The woman was hesitant to speek.. After three or so minuets passed, "No." Everybody looked at her angrly.
"What?! You owe me your life!! You dare deny the acient magic that holds this land toge-" He was cut off
"I owe you my life, not this little bitch.. I'll have nothing to do with her." She begun to walk away. Dyrza was dumbfounded.. He opened his mouth, then closed it unable to respond. He had to think of something quick, then... it hit him.
"Stop!" She did, and he drew his sword, and stuck it at his gut. "I command you to heal this girl, if you don't then I will end my life. You can not deny me." She winced at his words.
"Fine! You fool!" She walked back over, examaned Tara, and said to take her into the house. There was a spare bed, and she'd mend her there. She stared into the eyes of Dyrza then walked away. "Fool"

Edan kept by Tara's side the entire time. Carrying her all the way was hard but he would have done it forever. In a small way he felt like he was responsable for what happened. As if he hadn't left, than nothing would be wrong. Annette would still be alive and Tara wouldn't be hurt. He knew though that he couldn't of change anything.
"Will she really heal Tara?" He asked, sounding a bit anxious.

Kougi raised an eyebrow. The young wizard was most confused.
"i...didn't yell at her. i was just worried. i still am worried."
He asks politely
"So, is this healer able to heal tara? if so better make it quick, i dont like that pale colour of skin she's getting"

Nyx sighed. White hair was covering her face. Child. He was young, and foolish.
"..sometimes it is best to be quiet." she said in her whispy voice. She stood to check with her brother.
Meri was sitting with her back up against the wall. She didn't like this place, or the way that old woman had talked about Tara.
Nyx went to stand with her brother. She sighed.
"..this is not our problem." she said softly, watching the woman work on Tara. "..why did we help them?"

Dyrza stood quiet. He wasn't acctualy sure why he was helping them. Maybe it was because he told Meri that he would help her, maybe he was attracted to the other elf, or he was anxious that he saw another elf, even if she was just a halfbreed, and felt she should live. There could be any reason.. But whatever it was, he didn't know. He stood silent and stared at the ground.

Edan kept looking over the old ladies shoulder, his anticipation growing "How long is this gonna take?"

Kougi sighs heavily. Nothing important for him to say really, so he figured it would be best to remain quiet. To amuse himself he starts tossing around a small ball of fire and whistles.

"..Brother." Nyx said. She didn't want to talk at all. But this circumstance was weirding her out and she didn't understand what they were doing...
They never worked with outsiders.... "..why.. are we helping this.. half breed?" she added in a lowered tone.

I... Don't know..
--------- Thirty minuets.. An hour slowly sweapt by. Sweat was dripping down the old womans face, she whipes it from her brow, she has been silent this whole time, examining Tara, reading in books, and making odd contraptions. She didn't seem to know much magic, but she did seem to know alot about natural herbs. She soon stood straight up, whiped all the sweat from her face with a rag and declared. "It will take a few days, but she'll be fine. This wound was deper than normal. You were smart, you dumbass, to bring her to me.. You're lucky you are who you are." She grinned and walked away to her chair. She pulled out a pipe from a case where it was, and lit it and smoked it's contents.

Edan sat beside Tara, starring at her quietly. Turning to the old women and whispering the words 'Thank You!" to her, a few tears coming from his eyes. He whipped them quickly hoping the others hadn't seen.

Meri was sitting beside Edan in the darkened room. A shadow cast down from from floor to ceiling. It made half the room seem a little disjointed, a little.. lonely.
The blue haired girl pulled her knees up to her chest. She tilted her head a little, and leant it on Edan's shoulder.
"...she'll get better. They kept their promise, see?" she smiled. Edan was steadily becoming her best friend.
Tara was still unconcious, a quiet form breathing softly in a quiet room. The blood had been calmed on her chest and stomach, but the bandages were intense.
She was a beautiful girl. Especially when she was silent.
Nyx was at the window. She didn't want to be here anymore.. this wasn't their problem...

Dyrza walked outside, he liked it more out there. The recycled air of a house, or a cabin didn't suit him very well. He walked against a near by tree, sat against it, placed his hand on one of his swords and slowly drifted away into a deep sleep. It had been an oddity of a day for him, he diserved a rest.

Meri spent the next few days trying to be as useful as possible around the house.
Apparantly, all this really meant was getting out of the old woman's way and staying quiet..
so Meri wound up exploring the forest instead. Mint lived here..
Time passed slowly. Nyx became very irritable and brooding.. most of her spare time was spent glaring at Meri ('No, I do *not* need any help..') or avoiding her brother, who she became very irritated with.
When Tara awoke, two days later in the morning, she was incredibly surprised at her surroundings.
Her eyes adjusted, and she groaned. The sun was up..
She pushed herself to sitting, and pressed a hand on her forehead.
"..I need a drink.." she muttered.
